Artist's Description

This painting began abstractly as a wet-in-wet transparent watercolor on Arches 156 pound handmade watercolor paper. When it was dry I began to identify floral and leaf shapes. I wanted to keep the transparency so I glazed around the shapes. This painting is unframed.
